Canadian East Coast Ocean Modelling (CECOM) oceanographic forecasts metadata improved
The metadata record in the GDP has been updated for the western Atlantic oceanographic modelling output. Do a search for CECOM in the CSU to find the available layers. Additional information is now available on the time forecasts for the various layers - current, temperature, elevation. Sea Ice coverage is now being served up from BIO - search for CECOM.

The Gulf of Maine Mapping Initiative (GOMMI) e-newsletter for November 2008 is available. It has news and links to a number of activities underway in the Gulf of Maine. Of particular interest is a link to the coverage map for areas that have been multibeam information.
