Welcome to the Canadian Healthy Oceans Network website!

The Canadian Healthy Oceans Network, or CHONe (pronounced Ko-nee), is an NSERC strategic network focused on biodiversity science for the sustainability of Canada's three oceans.

The network includes researchers from 15 universities across Canada, the federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans, and seven other government laboratories.
